The turn over
Last week was a really long week. No Mp3...RT and SIT-Test all in one.
This week at least I'm gonna have my guitar and NE to keep me busy most of the time. Hopefully there will be no RT or guard this week either :X
I met Mich for Lunch on Saturday, had lunch at this cozy little Jap restaurant and had ramen. It was pretty good I must say and both of us enjoyed the food. We headed over to the esplanade library to chill out only to join Wei Xing and Jazzrel at town for a while to cruise till about 6.15pm?
Mich and I left off together first, she headed home to hit the books whilst I went for dinner with the bandits (Henry, Si Hui, Belinda and coy) at queenstown. Really good claypot chicken rice i must say!
I went home after that to go get the car and go see Gary. Poor dude has been confined for such a long time!
So I spent about 2 hours at Gary's place till about 12am?
Went running with lance at 5am and then headed to church. After choir prac, Aaron, Chris and I took a NS Men road trip down to Chevrons, going down the highway and singing at the top of our lungs to the tunes on the ipod haha. Headed back and sent them home to go send my uniform to beach road to get the name tag done...stupidly i put bro's name instead! EM TOH, Instead of EW TOH,
I really do miss bro actually, his company at home and his advice and stuff. At least I'll see him at POP. That'll be a sight I'm sure. Pity someone won't be around L
Anyway, this weekend has been thrilling and fulfilling all at once. I must say I'm ready to go back and go get some training done.

Sunday, August 15, 2010Where life goes on....
7 Weeks left on the clock to POP.
Life goes on as per normal. This week we're going to range and then next week sit-test.
I'm quite proud of my accomplishments last week. I can do most of the SOC obstacles EXCEPT low rope. I can pass all IPPT stations except pull up and SBJ now. Pull ups only cuz i was delayed in being allowed to pull.
Not long more till I pass!
I was platoon IC last week on Thursday and Friday. There's a high chance, today is my last day as platoon IC. Finally back to the easy life.
But oh well RT next Saturday haiz...
On Saturday I went to pick up my new TF 10s after 4 hours of auditioning it amongst lots of other ear pieces like the Westone UM3 and Radus and lots more. To couple with it, I bought the intrinsic IC to connect to the magnum. I swear it sounds A.W.E. SOME!
After that I went to get my new Zinc bag and went to Macs to wait for dinner.
I fast walked back to Sommerset to meet Mich, meeting Eddy, Henry, Jue Pei, Yvonne and the new year 1 saxist.
Dinner was with WX, Jazrel and Mich at F.I.S.H in 313. It wasn't too bad actually. Quite satisfying.
We walked on to Esplanade to meet WX's friend but apparently we never got to meet her anyway, Mich and I left Esplanade by about 11...Gosh i only got home at 12.30. Believe that?
Church today as per usual. Nothing of note today, Lance hung out at my place in the afternoon and we had some fun crapping together about army life. Come to think about it?
Army life might suck but it does have perks...such as less opportunities to spend for example. From now till god knows how long, I'm not gonna spend anything more than my normal weekend usage. No more high profile spending dude!

Sunday, August 01, 2010It’s Alright, It’s Ok
This weekend was pretty uneventful.
FC was horrid...dirty, disgusting and unhygienic...
The rations ain't that bad actually.
I actually liked my rations for some strange reason.
It rained like twice during FC. Its SOOO miserable to sleep in a shell scrape and get rained on and having to sit in WET mud.
We had to bail out our shell scrapes later. Damn that feeling sucks. All the effort.
Friday I went out with Bel, Gary, Henry, Yan Ting, Si Hui and Melicia. We walked around town after a lil bit of dinner and we talked at the Hong Kong Cafe at Cine till about 11pm.
Then i went out to have a heart to heart talk with Gary at AMK's Mac's over a cuppa coffee. We talked till about 1am?
Saturday, went running with Lance in the morning and had Brekkie at Meng's.
Played games the whole morning after that, then went out to watch Inception with Henry, Mel, Yan Ting and Qiu Yi.
It's a great show. For those who love detailed stories, go watch this one. It's AWESOME.
Sunday, well nothing much today. It rained before church so couldn't run, went to pick up Daryl and then Jeanette.
Went for brekkie with Joven and we chilled out till afternoon when i had to go for Eva's 1 month celebration. Bless you child!
Spent the remainder of the time making the sand grenades we need to make and getting new albums.
Damn...I need a longer break. Hope I don't get RT or Guard Duty Next week. Its the National day weekend!!
God please let me NOT have duty or RT!
