Driving, Exams and IAP
Exams are over whoo hoo...should do moderately ok for this sem actually. Not as bad as i thought it would be.

Driving test on April 11, Attachment at CGH starting Monday. Alot to look forward to...that includes Ripieno and the combined orchestra. There's alot happening now. Its just thrilling.

Some photos from driving...no I wasn't actually driving around (as you can see from the speedometer) but I was waiting for Mr Tock to get clearance to use the circuit...

I enjoy driving...but i don't know if i can pass...perhaps I might not be as proficient as i thought i was yet...

Alot to think about
Well its been a while since I've updated this space.
Alot of things have happened in the past few days and weeks. First just to put up a few photos i took with my Iphone. I've warmed up to using it already thats for sure. Here's a picture of my best buddy Brennan. It seems here like he's wondering what's in store in life for him.

We were supposed to have quite a week last week. Tuesday's biochem paper and Wednesday's MoBio prac paper. Though things were rushed and rough. I studied long and hard for the biochem paper. Even studied with joe and bert till quite late to make sure we were ready. We saw a mini hurricane in the skies high above singapore. Gusts of wind blew some of our notes over the sides of the building so we sorta had to do some retrieval too.

Tuesday started like any other day. A day at the Bchem lab, everyone was preparing hard for the Bchem paper later that day. Dr Forday's tips certainly helped everyone feel smarter and more equipped. Half an hour to the paper was when the the unexpected happened.

Jordan, a fellow course mate and class mate had fallen unconscious after lunch and was rushed to the hospital. The test was postponed for now and everyone was dumbstruck and confused.

The Mobio prac test went alright but I think i made a few critical mistakes..

Thursday came and i had my first morning driving lesson. Made some mistakes but was pretty much alright..when i came back and read my emails i heard that Jordan was brain dead and i nearly spilled my coffee onto my desk. This statement was later retracted by Dr Chang due to misinformation.

On Friday i went to school thinking there was lesson and was told there wasn't. I hung out with lance for about an hour before going home. I met Odelia and had a brief chat with her about Jordan before leaving for home. Just as I reached home, bert gave me a call and he said they were going down to the ICU to visit Jordan.

So we went...it really wasn't very comforting to see the sombre faces at the hospital. When I walked into Jordan's room I immediately felt a stone drop somewhere in my heart. A classmate of mine was probably in the last few days of his life. We said what we could to our otherwise comatosed friend, all in hopes that he would get up to a miracle. I was told over lunch that Jordan by then was already brain dead not long after Dr Chang retracted his email.

Went back to get Kenn's bass guitar from the clubhouse and attended the IAP briefing, later had lunch with the guys at Nazri's gf's mum's cafe (man that was a long string of 's). The food was good but I had to take a cab home because kenneth's guitar bag has a strap that cuts into one's shoulders. Hurts like hell..

Saturday, Valentine's Day
Did the wedding early in the morning and came back to watch Early Edition through. Nothing much happened this day...

Sunday
Most of the day went as per every sunday. Though normal was not in the day's list of words. Went for Lunch with Bren and Joven at Botak Jones at AMK but upon reaching home around 2pm, an IM on MSN by bert told me that Jordan had passed away in the early morning on Sunday. It really was a shattering revelation. The wake was that very evening..

At the wake, i really wasn't very comfortable. After praying over Jordan i went into the tentage to see him one last time before his cremation in a few days time. His face was in true peace and at rest but the blueness of his skin and the look of sheer unnatural bliss chilled me to the bone. The look of death is really something that scares me.

Monday was a particularly uneventful day, spent most of the day just watching Early Edition. Played a game of L4d with Conrad before writing this entry.

Well its time to end off, i got a driving lesson at 830 and a senior's FYP project presentation to attend at 2pm.

It is how it always is in the end. Life is just one big fight. All our life we fight to live and survive. Though in the end we always lose but the fight ends differently for everyone one of us. Some of us die when we're old and have lived a long life, some die tragically in accidents, some by illness, some by war and some never live long enough to see out of their mother's wombs.

Death is and always will be a celebration of the passing of great men and women. Whether how great or how meagre they were. All it comes down to is how they had lived their lives.

God bless your soul, Jordan Tan Jun Jie. You've been a good classmate and friend even though i barely knew you. You go loved by many and treasured by even more. Your passing will be remembered by all who knew you.

Goodbye, Goodnight and Amen.

Just take a step back

Sometimes when we're so absorbed with the world at hand we fail to think about some of things that really matter in life...enjoyment, family time, friends and maybe for some... love?

So apart from all the studying...I've figured what INAC and BIF stand for...I've not a clue and but i failed.

INAC test = massacre...

Hopefully BIF is abit better....

I'm not exactly looking to fail this semester...theres alot to be had ahead...the driving test, the attachment, the combined concert...so much more...I can't afford to fail...no i can't...

I guess that only means to study more...that sucks...I don't exactly LOVE what i do..but i take pride in knowing that I know it. Wonder why....hmm...
